A. N. Roquelaure

A. N. Roquelaure is a pen name of Anne Rice, the American author best known for The Vampire Chronicles. Under this name she wrote erotic fiction, beginning with The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty, a retelling of the fairy tale in which the Prince wakes Beauty through an erotic initiation rather than a chaste kiss. She followed it with Beauty's Punishment and Beauty's Release, a sequence that revisits the tale with a darker, sensual edge.
