Alan Moore is an English author known mainly for comics, including Watchmen, V for Vendetta, From Hell, Swamp Thing and Batman: The Killing Joke. He began in British fanzines and magazines such as 2000 AD and Warrior before working for DC Comics, and later wrote the prose novel Voice of the Fire.
