Amal El-Mohtar

Amal El-Mohtar is a Canadian poet and writer of speculative fiction, best known for the 2019 novella This Is How You Lose the Time War, which carries Max Gladstone's name alongside hers. Her story collection Seasons of Glass and Iron and her book The River Has Roots add to a body of fiction that includes literary work. She edits Goblin Fruit and reviews science fiction and fantasy books for the New York Times Book Review.
