Amy Chua

Amy Chua is an American legal scholar, corporate lawyer, and writer. She is the John M. Duff Jr. Professor of Law at Yale Law School, having joined the faculty in 2001 after seven years at Duke Law School. Before teaching, she practiced as a corporate law associate at Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton. She is best known for the parenting memoir Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother, and her books also include The Golden Gate.
