Andrea Penrose

Andrea Penrose's books are historical mysteries in the Wrexford & Sloane series, set in a Regency London reshaped by industry and invention. Murder at Half Moon Gate, the second in the series, pairs a scientist with a political cartoonist to investigate the killing of an inventor, with a thread of romance running through the detective work. Murder on Black Swan Lane is another Wrexford & Sloane mystery.
