Andrew Ross Sorkin is an American journalist and author who writes the financial column for The New York Times and founded its DealBook news service. He is also a co-anchor of CNBC's Squawk Box and a co-creator of the Showtime series Billions. His book Too Big to Fail, an inside account of the financial crisis, was adapted into an HBO film that he co-produced. In 2025 Sorkin published 1929, a history of the Wall Street crash drawn from many previously unpublished documents.
