Anita Diamant is an American journalist who writes both fiction and non-fiction. She is best known for The Red Tent, her 1997 novel that became a book club favorite, and her most recent novel, The Boston Girl, was a New York Times best seller. Her other novels include Day After Night, a war story set in the Atlit internment camp, and she has also written six guides to contemporary Jewish practice, among them The New Jewish Wedding and Living a Jewish Life.
