Anne Baines

Anne Baines's books are fiction built around the Sam Arbichaut Mystery series. It opens with A Perfect Alibi, a detective story about a suspect whose alibi seems airtight, and continues with Butcher's Dozen, which leans into psychological horror. Cold Sweat, the third book, shifts toward psychological thriller, so the series moves from classic whodunit toward darker territory.
