Annie Berdel's books pair post-apocalyptic fiction with practical, personal nonfiction. Alpha Farm is a dystopian novel about Emma, a former corporate worker turned homesteader, who must lean on her self-sufficiency skills and a network of women when an electromagnetic pulse takes down the power grid. Alpha Farm, Facing Your Demons, the second Prepper Chicks book, turns to self-help and memoir.
