Antoinette Portis

Antoinette Portis's Hey, Water! is a picture book in which a child greets water wherever it turns up, from the tub to the garden. A simple repeated question becomes a game of noticing the natural world. Now and Wait are two more works of fiction under the same name, one filed with literary fiction and the other with contemporary fiction, each with a single-word title.
