April Aasheim's books are dark urban fantasy about witchcraft in the town of Dark Root. The Daughters of Dark Root series opens with The Witches of Dark Root and continues with The Magick of Dark Root. Both novels follow family legacies, sisterhood and awakening supernatural forces, with some romance and touches of humor along the way.
