Aravind Adiga is an Indian-born Australian writer and journalist, best known for his debut novel The White Tiger, which won the 2008 Man Booker Prize. The book follows a village boy who becomes a chauffeur in Delhi and is drawn into the compromises of his wealthy employers. His other fiction includes the novels Last Man in Tower, Amnesty and Selection Day, along with the short story collection Between the Assassinations.
