B. S. Johnson

B. S. Johnson, the name on these books, was an English experimental novelist, poet and literary critic who also produced television programmes and made films. Johnson's fiction includes Albert Angelo, a satirical-tinged coming-of-age novel about an aspiring architect forced into supply teaching, along with Christie Malry's Own Double-entry and House Mother Normal, both satires. Johnson lived from 1933 to 1973.
