Brian Coffey's novels are psychological thrillers, with a streak of horror in The Face of Fear. That book strands a former mountain climber in an empty office tower with a killer called The Butcher, and the only way out runs across the building's outer wall, straight through the climber's fear of heights. The Voice of the Night is another psychological thriller under the same name.
