C. Alan Bradley

Alan Bradley, who wrote under the name C. Alan Bradley, was a Canadian mystery writer born in 1938 and known for the Flavia de Luce series. The series opened with The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie, set in the English countryside of 1950 and following an eleven-year-old chemistry enthusiast, and continued with The Weed That Strings the Hangman's Bag. Bradley died in 2026.
