Charlotte Wood

Charlotte Wood is an Australian novelist, born in 1965. The Natural Way of Things imagines a near-future in which young women are locked in a crumbling compound and must form an unlikely alliance to resist their captors. The Australian newspaper called Wood one of the country's most original and provocative writers. Stone Yard Devotional, another of Wood's books, blends literary fiction with gothic and psychological horror.
