Cheryl Strayed is an American writer and podcast host who lives in Portland, Oregon. She is best known for Wild, her memoir of a solo hike up the Pacific Crest Trail in 1995, which was adapted into a 2014 film. Her other books include the novel Torch, Tiny Beautiful Things, which collects her Dear Sugar advice, and Brave Enough.
