Chigozie Obioma

Chigozie Obioma, born in Akure, Nigeria in 1986, writes literary fiction. He is best known for The Fishermen (2015), a coming-of-age novel, and An Orchestra of Minorities (2019), a work of magical realism; both were finalists for the Booker Prize. His third novel, The Road to the Country, came out in 2024. He teaches creative writing and English at the University of Georgia.
