David Barnett

David Barnett is an English journalist and author, born in Wigan, Lancashire, in 1970. He started out on local papers, the Wigan Observer, the Chorley Guardian and the Lancashire Evening Post, and later worked at the Telegraph & Argus. His fiction includes the gothic horror Scratch Moss, the contemporary horror of Scuttler's Cove, and the detective thriller Withered Hill, alongside earlier books such as Hinterland, Angelglass and The Janus House and Other Two-Faced Tales.
