David Grann

David Grann is an American journalist and a staff writer for The New Yorker. He is best known for The Lost City of Z, his first book, a tale of deadly obsession in the Amazon that reached No. 1 on the New York Times list. His other books include Killers of the Flower Moon, which traces the Osage murders and the birth of the FBI, and Wager, about a shipwreck off Cape Horn and the mutiny and court-martial that followed. His articles have also appeared in The Atlantic, The New York Times Magazine, and The Washington Post.
