Dawn Lee McKenna's books belong to The Forgotten Coast, a mystery series set along a stretch of Florida shoreline. Forgotten Coast: Books 1-4 gathers the opening detective stories, in which investigators work through crimes tied to small-town secrets and old histories. Low Tide, also numbered as the first in the series, is contemporary fiction with a coming-of-age thread.
