Ellen Marie Wiseman

Ellen Marie Wiseman's novels are historical fiction, often with a coming-of-age thread. Lost Girls of Willowbrook follows a sixteen-year-old who learns her twin sister is alive and confined in a grim state institution on Staten Island, a story drawn from the real conditions at Willowbrook. The Plum Tree and What She Left Behind are also historical novels.
