Erika Fatland

Erika Fatland is a Norwegian anthropologist, critic and writer whose work centers on travel writing and history. Her books include Sovietistan, a work of history and travel writing, and The Border: A Journey Around Russia. Fatland has won several awards for her writing and holds a ten-year artist's stipend from the Norwegian Government.
