Erika L. Sánchez

Erika L. Sánchez is an American poet and writer. She is the author of the poetry collection Lessons on Expulsion and the young adult novel I Am Not Your Perfect Mexican Daughter, a finalist for the 2017 National Book Award for Young People's Literature. Her memoir, Crying in the Bathroom, turns to her own life, and Sánchez was also a professor at DePaul University.
