Groff Conklin (1904–1968) was an American science fiction anthologist who gathered the genre's stories into collections such as A Treasury of Science Fiction, The Omnibus of Science Fiction, and Six Great Short Science Fiction Novels. He was also the book critic for Galaxy Science Fiction from 1950 to 1955, and he wrote books on home improvement and freelance pieces on scientific subjects. Born in Glen Ridge, New Jersey, he graduated from Columbia University in 1927 and died in 1968.
