Günter Görlich's books are works of fiction about young people finding their footing. Eine Anzeige in der Zeitung is a literary coming-of-age novel in which a newspaper notice sets off a chain of hopes, doubts and misunderstandings. Den Wolken Ein Stück Näher is a contemporary novel that also follows a coming-of-age path.
