H.M. Ward's books are contemporary romance, with a darker edge in the psychological thriller leanings of Damaged. That novel follows Sidney as she returns to the family who never believed her, while Peter carries troubles of his own from New York. Damaged 2 is the second book in that series, and The Arrangement: The Ferro Family begins a separate romance series, The Arrangement.
