Helen Oyeyemi

Helen Oyeyemi is a British novelist and writer of short stories. Her books include Boy, Snow, Bird, a story set in 1950s Massachusetts that echoes a familiar fairy tale, and Gingerbread, which belongs to magical realism. White Is for Witching moves into gothic and psychological horror. Across these titles, Oyeyemi works between literary fiction, the magical and the eerie.
