Huntley Fitzpatrick

Huntley Fitzpatrick was an American author of young adult fiction who wrote the contemporary romances My Life Next Door and What I Thought Was True. She graduated from Concord Academy in 1981 and attended Yale, then worked as an editor in academic publishing and on teen titles at Harlequin before writing full time. She also shares the byline on the short-story anthology Meet Cute: Count Down to Valentine's Day with several other YA writers. She died in April 2022 after a long illness.
