Hye-young Pyun

Hye-young Pyun is a South Korean writer of literary fiction and psychological thrillers. Her novel The Hole won the 2017 Shirley Jackson Award for Best Novel. It follows Oghi, a man left paralyzed and widowed after a car accident, as a hired caregiver's presence in his home grows unsettling. Pyun's other books under this name include City of Ash and Red and The Law of Lines.
