J. M. Coetzee is a South African and Australian novelist, essayist and translator who moved to Australia in 2002 and now lives in Adelaide. His novels include Disgrace, Waiting for the Barbarians, Foe, Age of Iron and Summertime. He won the Booker Prize twice and received the Nobel Prize in Literature in 2003.
