Jack Finney

Jack Finney, born John Finney in 1911, was an American writer who died in 1995. He is best known for science fiction and thrillers, among them The Body Snatchers, which became the 1956 film Invasion of the Body Snatchers, and Time and Again, the first book in the Time series. His stories often return to earlier periods and time travel, and ordinary people caught in extraordinary circumstances. The Third Level, with its hidden platform beneath Grand Central Terminal, shows those themes clearly.
