Jacqueline Wilson

Dame Jacqueline Wilson is an English novelist known for children's literature that takes on adoption, abuse, divorce and mental illness. She wrote crime fiction before turning to children's books, and her debut came in 1969. Her breakthrough arrived in 1991 with The Story of Tracy Beaker, and her other titles include The Illustrated Mum and Double Act, a story about twin sisters Ruby and Garnet.
