Jandy Nelson is an American author of the coming-of-age novels I'll Give You the Sun and The Sky Is Everywhere. Before writing fiction, Nelson spent 13 years as a literary agent at Manus & Associates Literary Agency. Nelson holds a Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University and several Master of Fine Arts degrees, including study at Vermont College of Fine Arts. Her books weigh family ties against loss, with I'll Give You the Sun following a pair of estranged twins.
