Jane Healey's novels are historical fiction. The Beantown Girls follows three young women from Boston who join the Red Cross Clubmobile, serving coffee and doughnuts to soldiers in World War II Europe, and weaves friendship together with romance. Saturday Evening Girls Club is another historical novel, with a coming-of-age thread.
