Jim Gaffigan is an American stand-up comedian, actor and writer known for observational routines about fatherhood, food, laziness and religion, and for a comparatively clean style. He has released thirteen long-form comedy specials and has written Dad Is Fat, a collection of essays about raising five children, along with Food: A Love Story, which mixes essays, satire and memoir. He has also worked in film, television and on Broadway, and he is a three-time Emmy winning performer.
