The Hetta Coffey mysteries are detective fiction, beginning with Just Add Water and continuing with Just Add Salt and Just Add Trouble. Just Add Salt follows Hetta, an independent yacht captain working the sunny waters off Mexico, as danger and shady company come aboard. Humor runs alongside the suspense, and Just Add Trouble leans further into satire.
