João Gilberto Noll

João Gilberto Noll's books are literary fiction, including the novels Lord and Quiet Creature on the Corner. Lord follows a Brazilian traveler through the immigrant neighborhoods of London's Hackney, where memory and identity begin to slip and the story turns surreal, sensual and unsettling. Fear and self-invention run through its pages.
