Joel Goldman is an American author and former trial attorney, born in 1952. He writes the Lou Mason legal thrillers, including Cold Truth, a courtroom story about a defense attorney tangled in a troubling case, and the Jack Davis Thrillers, which begin with Shakedown. With novelist Lee Goldberg, Goldman co-founded Brash Books in 2014 to bring back out-of-print crime novels by writers such as Bill Crider and Gar Anthony Haywood.
