John Vaillant

John Vaillant is an American-Canadian writer and journalist whose work has appeared in The New Yorker, The Atlantic, National Geographic, and Outside. He has written both non-fiction and fiction, and his non-fiction includes Fire Weather: A True Story from a Hotter World, which follows a wildfire through the oil region around Fort McMurray, Alberta. He also wrote The Tiger.
