Joseph D. Nirmaier's books are dystopian science fiction about what happens when the lights go out. Fourteen Days, a thriller, follows JT Clarke and a small group of survivors in rural Wisconsin after an electromagnetic pulse attack knocks out the country's power. They try to hold their refuge together as refugees arrive and order breaks down. Seven Days is a second dystopian novel.
