Joseph Kuefler's books are picture books for children ages 4 to 8, written as contemporary fiction. Rulers of the Playground is a funny story about a group of playground "rulers" who discover that sharing and taking turns work better than winning, with friendship at its center. The Digger and the Flower is a second picture book for the same age group, with rebirth and change as its themes.
