Joshua Harris

Joshua Harris is an American former Evangelical Christian pastor best known for I Kissed Dating Goodbye, a 1997 book that laid out a biblically based approach to dating and relationships and helped shape purity culture. He followed it with Boy Meets Girl: Say Hello to Courtship, a second book in the I Kissed Dating Goodbye series. Harris was lead pastor of Covenant Life Church in Gaithersburg, Maryland, from 2004 until 2015. In 2018 he disavowed I Kissed Dating Goodbye and ended its publication, and now calls himself a seeker.
