JP Delaney writes psychological thrillers, with The Girl Before and The Perfect Wife among the titles. Born in 1962, Delaney builds those books around unease, following women whose new lives begin to tilt. The Girl Before follows two women who move into a sleek, architect-designed house on One Folgate Street, and it is the clearest example of that approach.
