Kate Manne is an Australian philosopher and associate professor of philosophy at Cornell University, born in 1983, whose work centers on feminist, moral and social philosophy. Manne's nonfiction includes Down Girl: The Logic of Misogyny, a philosophical study of misogyny, and Entitled, a set of essays on how societies decide who deserves what and where entitlement ends and justice begins.
