Katherine Arden

Katherine Arden Burdine writes under the pen name Katherine Arden, and the books on that name are fantasy and historical novels by an American novelist. She is best known for the Winternight trilogy, beginning with The Bear and the Nightingale, which is set in medieval Russia. She also wrote the Small Spaces horror series for middle-grade readers, the first of which won Vermont's Golden Dome Book Award, along with the war novel The Warm Hands of Ghosts.
