Kayla St James's fiction is orc-centered fantasy, with Betrayed by the Orc and Orc's Unwilling Bride as its titles. Betrayed by the Orc follows a young woman pursued by former allies after a trusted alliance falls apart, and it weighs loyalty, secrets and whether a monster can be trusted. Orc's Unwilling Bride moves the same fantasy world toward romance.
