L. Douglas Hogan's books are thrillers, with a leaning toward spy fiction and psychological suspense. Oath Takers opens The Patriot Series, a story of political tension and divided loyalties in which duty and personal conviction pull against each other and threats come from inside a nation as well as outside it. Tyrant is a standalone psychological thriller.
