Lemony Snicket is the pen name of American author Daniel Handler, born in 1970 in San Francisco, and he writes the books published under it. He is best known for A Series of Unfortunate Events, a children's series in which Snicket appears as the narrator investigating the Baudelaire orphans' misfortunes, with more than 60 million copies sold. Snicket also wrote the four-part All the Wrong Questions series, beginning with Who Could That Be at This Hour?, and the fictional autobiography Lemony Snicket: The Unauthorized Autobiography.
