Leonard Mlodinow is an American theoretical physicist, mathematician, screenwriter and author who writes popular science for general readers. He is best known for The Drunkard's Walk, a look at how randomness shapes our lives, and for Subliminal, which explores how the unconscious mind guides behavior. His other books include The Grand Design, written with Stephen Hawking, Elastic, Emotional, the biography Stephen Hawking, and the memoir Feynman's Rainbow. He also lectures publicly and has debated Deepak Chopra on ABC's Nightline.
